At McAuley High School, spiritual development is integral to the life, education, and formation of our young women. Campus Ministry offers programs to meet the spiritual needs of all its students. While some aspects of the student's spiritual development plan are required elements, all programs give the student the freedom to express her uniqueness and gifts as "created in God's image." Campus Ministry's programs are centered in the Catholic tradition flavored by the charism of the Sisters of Mercy.
Campus Ministry is primarily responsible for the liturgy, prayer, and retreat components of a McAuley education. However, Campus Ministry collaborates with other departments, especially the Theology Department as well as the Service and Justice Program to offer an interdisciplinary, complementary, and well-rounded approach to the faith formation of the student body. Ms. Katie Geckle serves as McAuley's Campus Minister.
