Colleges That Change Lives, Wednesday, September 15, 2010, panel presentation at 7pm with fair open until 9pm at the Savannah Center in West Chester. Colleges include: Dennison, Centre College, College of Wooster, Ohio Wesleyan, Hope College. Go to www.ctcl.org for more information.

Cincinnati Multicultural Scholarship Fair: Thursday, September 16, 2010, 4pm -7pm at the Carl Lindner YMCA. Must have at least a 3.0 (85%) GPA. See guidance for a flier.
9th – 12th GRADE: Nestle Very Best in Youth Contest. Created to spotlight the best in youth leadership, the program identifies teens whose efforts are making a profound impact in lives other than their own through their passionate commitment to community service, conviction to their projects, and academic achievements. Reminder: September 1, 2010 Junior and Senior College Financial Aid Night. Paul Calme from Xavier University will speak about the different sources of college financial aid.

Grades 9-12: Voice of Democracy Patriotic Audio Essay Competition. Audiotape your essay about “Does My Generation Have a Roll in America’s future?” Compete for scholarships. Must have a VFW sponsor, contact VFW post 7340 located at 8326 Brownsway in North College Hill. For more information and the entry form go to www.vfw.org. Grades 9-12: FREE Good Samaritan Explorers Program. Explore the world of health care-interactive and hands-on program. Four sessions of two hours each beginning October 13, 2010.
