Endowments, Scholarships and Grants

Endowments (only the generated interest used):
A minimum of $25,000 is required to start a named endowment. The interest on the amount
is then given to a student each year. In keeping with IRS regulations, the donor may specify
the type of student but not which particular student is to receive funding.

Scholarships (expendable) :
A minimum donation of a full year's tuition is required to have a named scholarship. In keeping
with IRS regulations, the donor may specify the type of student but not which particular student
is to receive funding.

A donation of less than a full year's tuition will go into the McAuley Scholarship/Financial
Aid Fund. The donor may not specify the type of student to receive funding.

Grants (payment of a particular student's tuition) :
A minimum donation of $1,000 is required to have the donor's name recognized. In keeping with
IRS regulations, the student may not be a relative of the donor.

General Information:
A statement of endowment interest earned cannot be shown to the donor.

The school principal  or a committee named by the principal will make the selection of the student to
receive funding.

The minimum amounts for each endowment, scholarship, or grant will be evaluated and adjusted for inflation/practicality as required.
