- High School PlacementTest: administered in December to all potential McAuley freshmen. The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is used to determine a student’s scholastic ability and to allow McAuley to appropriately place each student in her classes.
- Ohio Graduation Test (OGT): administered to all sophomores in March. Passing the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) is mandatory for graduation. The OGT consists of 5 separate tests in reading, math, writing, science, and social studies. To pass the OGT, students must attain a score of at least 400, or a rating of “proficient”. The possible ratings are Advanced, Accelerated, Proficient, Limited, and Basic. If the first attempt to pass is unsuccessful, students may retake individual subject tests in July and October. Students must continue taking the subjects they did not pass until a rating of proficient, accelerated, or advanced is reached. If 1 or more subjects are not passed, the student may not graduate.
- PSAT/NMSQT: administered to all juniors and some sophomores. This is the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. Doing well on the PSAT may result in the student being a National Merit Scholar and earning scholarships.
- Career Interest Survey (Self-Directed Search): administered to all sophomores as part of World Of Work (WOW) Day
